**Abu Dhabi: how do you get from the airport to the center?**
Buses A1 and A2 go from Zayed International Airport (AUH) to the center, 24 hours, paid with the Hafilat card, sold at machines in the airport, because the driver does not accept cash. A taxi to Saadiyat costs 60 to 80 AED and takes 25 to 30 minutes.

**Abu Dhabi: how much does it cost to visit the Grand Mosque?**
The Grand Mosque charges 10 AED to those from outside the country, with a reservation on the mosque center's website. The guided cultural tour is free, and the visit to the main prayer hall costs 30 AED extra. People aged 60 and older do not pay the entry fee.

**Abu Dhabi: how many days should I stay?**
Three days is ideal, and two are enough for the essentials: the center with the Grand Mosque, Saadiyat with the Louvre, and on the third Mina Zayed, the Jubail mangrove and Yas Island. With a fourth day, I'd go to the Al Ain oasis.

**Abu Dhabi: how do you get to Dubai by train?**
Since September 30, 2026, Etihad Rail runs from Mohamed bin Zayed City, on the mainland and far from the center, to Al Yalayis, in Dubai, in a little over an hour. The Comfort ticket costs from 39 AED, and the trains of the first weekend sold out, so buy in advance.

**Abu Dhabi: is it safe to travel in 2026?**
The risk that calls for attention in 2026 is regional: the British advisory cited in the guide, updated in July 2026, reports attacks in the region and possible flight cancellations and airspace closures. Follow the local authorities, keep away from military installations and, if there is an alert, shelter in a solid building, away from windows. Before traveling, check your government’s current advisory and your flight status.
