**Bariloche: Can you pay the bus in cash?**
No: Mi Bus's city buses only accept the SUBE card, even with bills in hand. Buy and load the card at a kiosk downtown before your first ride, and load extra credit, because the farthest sections cost double the regular fare.

**Bariloche: How do you get there by plane?**
The flight from Buenos Aires takes about 2 hours 15 minutes, and there are also connections to Córdoba, Mendoza, El Calafate and seasonal flights from Brazil.

**Bariloche: Is it still worth changing cash dollars?**

**Bariloche: What's the best time to go?**
Summer seems like the obvious answer, but the best months are March and April: stable days, weaker wind, the lengas turning red by late April, off-peak prices, and trails still open.

**Bariloche: How is mate drunk in a circle?**
The ritual has a fixed order: empty the gourd without touching the straw and hand it back always to the same hand, the one that poured it.
