# Singapore: map, what to do and when to go

The currency is the Singapore dollar (S$), and it's worth checking the day's exchange rate before doing the math.

**Singapore: is there a better time to go?**
Yes: February to April and June to August, away from the rainiest months, November to January. Between August and October, watch the PSI index, because haze from fires in Indonesia can drift in.
