EuropeMunichMunich is the capital of Bavaria, with its beer gardens, the Kunstareal museums, the Englischer Garten and Oktoberfest. Expensive and orderly, it was rebuilt on its medieval plan after the war, and the Alps, 60–80 km away, are visible from downtown only on a few days a year.
