Who it is for

For anyone who wants big-city Southeast Asia in ten days.

Not for anyone looking for nature, since all three stops are metropolises.

The strategy

The trip runs from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. Compare bus and air travel for the first leg, including the border crossing and transfers, and confirm the connection to Bangkok. Choose your return flight around your destination and connections, leaving city-transfer days clear of visits with fixed admission times.

What you will see

  • Gardens by the Bay, Singapore. About 100 hectares of park on reclaimed land, opened in 2012.
  • Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur. A limestone cave complex 13 km to the north, turned into a temple to the god Murugan in 1891 and reached by 272 steps repainted in colorful stripes in 2018.
  • Grande Palácio, Bangkok. A 218,000 m² complex built starting in 1782, a royal residence until 1925 and the venue for state ceremonies.
